Karen Arrieta, VICE PRESIDENT
Hi everyone, I’m Karen Arrieta. I was introduced to Pickleball by our own Sandy Segien and have such gratitude for all the game has given me…physical and mental health, friendships, endless laughs, and connection to a group of people I would have never met. So after retiring from an incredible career in Biotech, working with the inherited bleeding disorders community, I hope to use some of my work life skills as your VP on the board, to preserve and enhance the great programs our Association offers us and the community. I also enjoy extreme gardening and am working to get my dog certified with Love on a Leash so we can visit memory care, medical rehab facilities, and schools…Don’t worry, Milo will continue his internship as our Pball Therapy Dog. |
Marsha Singer, SOCIAL DIRECTOR
On March 14th 2022, I retired from a career in Biotech, and on March 15th I attended Chickleball for the first time. I have been hooked on the game ever since. My husband and I have owned a home in Oceanside for 20 years. Besides enjoying time with my husband and grandbabies, pickleball has become an important part of my retirement. Prior to March 15th I had only seen three pickleball games, now I thoroughly enjoy my pickleball play. The game is fun, but the social interaction has been so invaluable to me. I believe by serving on the Melba Bishop Board as Social Director, I will be able to give back to the community of Oceanside in a fun and positive way. |
